They have a history of pretending to be a mail delivery service trying to locate someone. A lady called Samantha called my friend, they ask card numbers and although they should have customer details they still ask, what they do is not "illegal" in the sense of law they are simply saying that they are providing a service which they sell over the phone, however i would suggest that no one ever gives any bank details over the phone or indeed to anyone in the street, they can and will be misused.
