They called saying they were carphone warehouse offering my a great deal on an iPhone 11 pro and when I asked how they got my number they hung up, seems like a scam call

"Can you hear me?" repeated. Fraud, happened three times, seem to be wanting a record of my voice to use fro fraudulent purposes.
Unsolicited call. Bristol number. They said they were from "CAS" (Claims Advisory Service), calling about a non-existent car accident, saying that there was money due to me. When I asked how they got my number, they hung up the line.

This person who sounded Indian has been phoning me 2 or 3 times a day for the past month. Did not identify themselves properly and wanted to know if I was a British Citizen and ask questions about my utility provider. I asked them where did they got my number from as it is registered with the Telephone Preferential Service. They did not reply. Pretending to be lawyers who say I have a case of tax fraud against me. This was a very entertaining phone call as the man on the other line who went under the name of "Michael Jordan", not the basketball player, told me I must give him money or else I would be arrested in 30 minutes!! Thank you Mr. Jordan for giving me and my flatmate 40 minutes of laughs this morning.
Indian call centre claiming to be BT Openreach. Claim my modem is sending signals that there is low speed on the line. As soon as I claim that there is no issues with the speed the call is unceremoniously and abruptly ended. Queried with BT Openreach on twitter to confirm not genuine.
