A lady with a very strong (Chinese?) accent asked me to take part in a poll stressing that the calls will be recorded. She had my correct address details and was asking questions such as "do you have any following type of loans" or any "following type of investments" or if I was interested in taking on a life insurance or a funeral insurance plan and some general question of demographics. She didn t ask what bank I was with or my level of income, or any other things I would have considered dodgy. In the
Indian Call Centre (Surprise Surprise) Claimed to be from my Network provider - When i asked who? They Said "Virgin Mobile" - Im Not with Virgin Which i told her along with a few other choice words!

A woman telling her name and then something inaudible (the line was bad). As soon as I asked "can you repeat? the line is... " she didn t even let me finish and told "thanks for confirming!". As I was saying "I didn t confirm anything..." she hung up. (Did she think I would call back?). So, scam, can t say if it was about car accidents, but don t call back!

A young cocky individual will ring you up, asking stupid questions, mentioning that he would want to invest money with you, etc. Without understanding how markets, finance or investments work. Sounds like a scam. Don't waste your time on stupid people.
