I have just had the same thing tried on me, i agreed to dossier books for schools and an invoice of £195 would be posted out....SCAM!!

A well spoken English accent for a change from the usual child caller. They at least had the business owners name for a change but the usual failure to state their name or purpose was present, my suggestion that the owner had gone to Tunisia for the summer will, no doubt, fail to put them off their mission of calling every day for the foreseeable future.

Standard "talk talk" fake call. "Problems with my router". Again. Told them I d bought one previous week from TalkTalk ? where was it, I was still waiting!! Rang off! Called to tell me "HMRC were filing a suit against you press 1 to talk to your case worker." Calling and not specifying which ocupant of the premises they want. HAHAHAHA HMRC do not work this way! HMRC can write me if they want to file a law suit against me or they can write my partner if it is her they want!
