Someone from the "Savers Club" who insisted that I had expressed an interest in the club previously. Standard scam call where the caller insists you have spoken to them before in order to gain confidence. AVOID
Insurance. Very suspicious. The caller claimed to be calling about renewal of an insurance policy on my washing machine. He sounded convincing until he said he wanted to confirm my bank details. I asked him to tell me what details he had and he said he didn't have that information and wanted me to give them to him. Naturally, I refused to do this and he quickjy terminated the conversation. This is probably an attempted fraud.
