Silent calls, telemarketing. Company buys in information, so even when you ask to delete your number, they will buy the information in again and calls start up again. Add to craplist if possible.

SCAM / SPAM - I received a call from this number asking about my debt, which I have none. It was a gentleman with an asian accent. I asked how he got my number and told him that I was with the telephone preference service and that he should not be calling me. I am concerned that this will happen to other people who are not as switched on as I was when I got this call. I believe he was going to offer me a way to clear my debt and try to obtain my bank details. He knew my name which makes me think some busine

Called pretending to be from BT broadband about an awful virus on my computer about to bring the whole BT network to a grinding halt. Wanted me to give him remote access to computer and hub. BT don t want to know, only thing to do really is to block the number to save any kids or elderly relatives being duped.
