Calling Me Daily regarding Talk Talk Internet problems when I m not a Talk Talk Customer. Threatening that my Telephone will be cut off and broadband.

Missed he call. When I called back I got a message about opting out. Probably a scam.
THIS NUMBER IS NOT HALIFAX OR THE LLOYDS BANKING GROUP. I PHONED THEM TO CONFIRM. I DON T KNOW WHO IT IS OR WHAT THEY WANT. I WOULDN T PHONE THEM BACK JUST IN CASE. Just had a call from this number on my mobile. There was a lady there with an accent I didn t recognise. She gave no name, and said she was from Halifax regarding my personal account. I used to have an account with Halifax, but I shut it down about a year ago, but I do still have a joint account with my husband, that isn t used. She asked for

I picked up, cloud hear them talking to someone else in the background, then they hung up. Presumably cold-calling multiple numbers at the same time and someone answered just before I did.

SCAM "You have a missed call from bt, there has been suspicious activity on your ip adress"
8th March 2021. Dodgy bloke asking about our appliance plan for washing machine. He knew my name. I offered to read out my credit card details - he said this was not necessary. I asked if he needed my bank details - he also said this was not necessary as they are not scammers. I told him there were thousands of pounds in my bank account but he repeated that they were not scammers. So I repeated "scammers" a few times and he said goodbye. I said f*ck off and hung up.
