Caller said they are 02 and giving a 30% discount on my tariff. 02 calls always end in 02 so I knew it was spam and hung up.

One day caller claimed to be from lloyds another day from halifax and another day from santander all from the same number told them same story that i never owned their bank but keep asking to confirm few details so told them to bugger off and blocked their number since they keep calling everyday

I called back greeted by a woman saying it's the customer service department and was asked if I had a car accident lately.

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. I ignored the call most of the month - finally answered it today and they refused to discuss with me as I would not pass DPA. I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call.
