Automated call from my 'Internet Service Provider' to my landline, saying I'm about to be cut off! As my ISP has direct email contact with me and also my mobile phone number as my primary support number this is in most likelyhood a scam.
Fraud When I answered this call there was an automated message seemingly from the DWP stating that my National Insurance number was going to be stopped because of fraud. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an operator. I was then transferred to an open line where I could hear a lot of background noise, like a call centre, nobody said anything and then the line went dead. I then called the number back and a business selling plastic answered. Why people do this is a disgrace.

Had five calls from this number, two in one morning. No one answers when I pick up.
Sky promote this number on their My Sky website which is a Bogus expensive helpline number. I have now cancelled Sky.

SCAM Claimed to be from British Gas and that my contract for energy services for my small business was due to expire and they wanted to help me renew it. (I don't have an account with BG) When I asked them for the account number he told me he would have to call me back because he was very busy right now. Sounded like a call centre in the background, very noisy and his accent was very difficult to understand. Do not give them any details.
