Caller insisted either I or someone in my household had had an accident during the past year. When I told her "no", she was adamant I was wrong, and ended our conversation by telling me to "f* off"!!
Said they was Virgin media and i had a problem with my internet, and wanted me to get one of my devices so they could solve the problem while i was on the phone to them. Obvious scam, sounded like a Indian woman

Man with thick Indian accent asked my name, I asked him to repeat because it was a bit of a bad line but then he hung up. Potentially bad caller, especially after googling the number and seeing all the alleged scam and cold calling coming from this number in the past week.

In line with everyone above I have had the same experience. They continue to call at least 4 times a day. I have now installed a BT Call blocker phone BT8500, its heaven, I know now that when the phone rings its from one of my approved listed numbers. Certainly worth the money. I smile in satisfaction every time I check the phone to see what numbers have called to see them listed. All they get is an automated message telling them their number is blocked. :)

Said it was the inland revenue told me my national insurance number had been used in a fraudulent way and that I needed to call them to discuss it before legal action was taken against me .. as if we need this on top of all the current crap we are suffering at the moment. Do not return call or get involved with these sick individuals ..
