Crazy scam with an Asian guy trying to bamboozle me with tech-speak. Told me my ip address had been made public and should be switched back to private. I asked him to confirm my IP address 'so I could be sure we were talking about the same connection'. He said no one had my IP address. I asked him for a phone number to call back on and he hung up. Total scam - I don't even have BT broadband.

I had a call from these people earlier today saying they were calling from u compare. I don't normally accept these types of calls but decided to listen as my current supplier npower put my dd up. I was glad I gave the agent the chance to speak as I hung up saving £344. As long as it's not ppi I may give these calls a little longer to speak before hanging up the phone lol
