SCAM, Indian call centre, caller claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse & was offering a deal to upgrade my phone, asked my current phone info. I mentioned that Carphone Warehouse went into administration a year ago & no longer existed at which point the caller became extremely angry, yelling 'HOW COULD YOU KNOW? HOW COULD YOU KNOW?' at which point I laughed & hung up.
They called me 2 times and they offered me a new deal about electricity and gas..I don t like make a new deal by phone and I wasn t sure about them, maybe they aren t serious..
This number has been calling me for weeks. I then received a message telling me it was regards my tmobile account. The next time they called I answered and the woman basically tricked me into thinking she was from t-mobile when actually it turns out they are a third party company. The computer kept freezing at their end so they couldn t tell me my current price plan etc. Were giving me a phone and sim with upfront costs of £30. I found out that I could have got it for free at any mobile company so I cance
