Came up as a local number so I answered but it was a call centre "following up on my recent accident". Hung up as soon as I laughed at them.
Sounds like call centre in the background but they just say hello and hang up.
keep getting calls from this number, then fails to leave message. often asian sounding males/femalss claiming to be from virgin media or one of the banks. Often just cutting off when asked any probing question.

There are generally two companies involved in a scam like this. One with the telecom resources and telesales staff makes the nuisance calls, and then another follows up the leads generated. Some have identified the latter company as “PPI Advice Line” whilst others have suggested Redhawk Legal Ltd in Swansea following up on the leads.
