Same as the others. Called to ask me my name for marketing purposes. Tried to check my name. I said its incorrect. He was very confused. And I asked why are you calling me, and he hung up.
They called. I said I'm not interested, please can you remove my number. They said no. I hung up. He tried to call me back 5 times before I blocked the number

I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse. I regard this as a data breach and would go as far to say this information may have been stolen. If anyone can or has the know how please report this to OFCOM.
