I have had numerous calls from this number at varying times of the day, I have not answered as I do not recognise the number, despite almost daily calls no voice mail is ever left

SCAM. Tried to pretend he was my son and had broke his phone and had a new number. Then he wanted me to pay a bill as he couldn’t access online banking.

I guess this would be classed as spam. This person calls persistently & frequently. If you answer he will remain silent, if you block him he will call back using a private number, often within seconds, and leave either a silent voicemail message, or a message of a sexual nature. Sometimes he will leave a message which sounds as if he is audibly masturbating.
