Robot talked and said that insurance number was cancelled due to fraud????

Fraud - Automated call pretending to be the office of HMRC. Press 1 to be connected re fraud on your account, if not, you will be arrested... Do not answer!

Automated voice message saying it was HMRC, I was being charge with fraud and if i did nothing there would be a warrant for my arrest. Needless to say I hung up.

The person who had my mobile number before me was in debt. This debt has now been passed on to Lowell who continue to ring me on an almost daily basis from various numbers. There is never a human on the other end, always a recorded message, so I can't tell them that they have the wrong number.

Angry man with heavy Indian accent accusing me of calling him multiple times and waking him up. Threatened of consequences if called again (never called him in the first place) then continued to attempt to call me later.

Another call where, when you answer, it's silent then cuts off.

"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. She obviously wasn't happy but she kept the scam going so I kept winding her up making her more annoyed. Eventually her "line manager" must have took over the call and after a bit wind up with him I wound up the

SCAM Fake call, attempting to impersonate BT.....

28/06/18 An India man called from 01420 300017, claiming to be from Telephone Preference Management. He said he was updating records, to stop me getting nuisance calls for life ( alarm bells already ringing). He asked me to confirm that I paid my phone contract by direct debit, and then asked me to confirm my card expiry date...at which point, I hung up.

I have won £1000,NOT!

Fraud Introduced himself as my energy advisor from Southern Electric. I asked him for my account number, he hung up. Looking at the other reports it's a scam. In breach of both ex directory and Telephone Preference Service.

I and my partner have received these calls. They are quite convincing and can understand how some less aware people are caught out. My biggest concern is people say they have reported it to police on 101, Trading standards, TPS and Ofcom but it is still go

Another accident chasers, this time from Birmingham... Just block it. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
