SCAM. Woman claimed I'd sponsored her company, and was sending me an invoice for £189 that she claimed I'd agreed to.
Claimed to be calling on behalf of a third party who had minor discomfort after a car accident. I asked who the third party was, told the driver who crashed into my car had filled in a questionnaire. I said that was interesting since even the insurance company can t get hold of him as he was arrested the day he crashed into my parked car and due to this and other offences (on the day and prior) has been in prison ever since. SCAM or Telemarketer When I answered, there was a delay of several seconds (huge give-away of Telemarketing / scam centers) before a man said 'hello?'. I hung up, then rang back. The woman who answered did not answer in a professional manner, i.e. instead of answering with the company name and her name, she said 'hello?' (with lots of call center noise in the background). I hung up. Called back later, same thing. Not interested and number blocked.
