SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse
I can confirm this is a scam purporting to be Lloyds Bank. It’s an automated voice and they had my name and home number. I did not do what they asked but terminated the call and phoned Lloyds Bank myself. Definitely a scam, 24th July 2022
