I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. This number is for C.A.R.S or Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions. They are a genuine debt collection agency so I would suggest speaking to them if they are trying to contact you.

Called telling me they knew where I lived and were going to rob me. Called them back and it was Sea, Sun & Sickness. They said it was a non-employee on interview. Am taking it to the ICO and police.

rang 4 times today but I let it go to answer machine, no message left, each time I`ve done the 1471 and its Laithewaithe`s presumably trying to sell me more wine. I placed my first on line order with this company just before Christmas (36 bottles of wine) 4 days after Christmas I got a call from them trying to sell me more, which I declined. They have pestered me 3 or 4 times a day almost every day ever since.Aargh!!! pass the wine somebody!!!

They keep ringing and asking to speak to me then all I can hear is loads of talking in the background.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

This company has been calling our business address informing he is from e-on, asking for personal details. This company is a harassment caller and has called this morning several times with a very aggressive tone. We have had to be firm but he is still persistently calling. We have verified with e-on that they have not had contact with us and told not to give nay personal details. AVOID
