This number called my landline then called my mobile immediately afterwards, so they obviously had my details rather than calling random numbers. I don t answer to numbers I don t recognise and they didn t leave a message on either my answerphone or my voicemail, so I ve no idea who it was.

Motorcycle buying company.Once they have your number and despite telling them I am not interested in selling my bike to them they continue to call twice per day for weeks on end...

A scam call supposedly from British Telecom saying Your service will be terminated press 1 to connect to adviser press 2 to hear message again.

Knew my name. So "Sorry he s not here just now, can I pass on a message?" Yes I could. It was about "unfreezing my pension".

Needless to say it was an asian accented junk caller.

Recorded message saying please be aware at which point I put the phone down.Believe it a green energy scam to do with upgrading your windows.Number now blocked.

Says insurance motor accident claims for accident I never had. Rude caller.

Caller with what sounded like an indian accent asked for the householder -they got name of the householder wrong so clearly their database [ no idea where they got it ] is corrupted . The number appearing on my phone was a N Ireland area code but she sounded anything but irish. When Isaid there was one of that name here , they hung up tartly . [ I think I ve been contacted by this Co. before but using an alternative no , as the wrong name they quoted has been used before by other cold callers ].
