Had phoned elderly member of household last week and was told to call again another day and speak to me, wanted to sign up to service whereby they remove number from telemarketing lists and install an international number blocker to phone for ?1.90 per month. Caller withheld number but I asked for number to call him back on with bank details.
Foreign sounding fellow told me they had been monitoring bad activity happening with my computer and knew why it was going slow. I told him it must be something to do with my IP - at which point he said yes - your IP number is.... and he had two or three attempts at it - during which time I laughed - which is when he said "if your computer crashes don t call us" I laughed and promised I would not - and he slammed the phone down...
