Told me my life insurance was due for renewal when him I didnt know what he was talking about he said Id been looking for life insurance recently. I told him I hadnt and he apologised for the confusion and rung off.
Calls himself harry pike. Conned me out of £150 for Buggy.. He used pictures from ebay for the Buggy. Police informed and dealing with. Other Numbers used are 07368314195 and 07786 228316

Yet another number among the 50+ calls a week talktalk scams (Finally leaving them and NOT keeping my number, seeing talktalk REFUSE to help sort it or change my number. I have HAD IT with getting harrassed. not able to use my phone /having to unplug it due to the non stop scammers, then getting very paranoid unable to contact anyone if i need help when I am registered disabled de to mental health issues
I have just been called by this number by a man with an Asian accent. He told me he was from Talk Talk and that someone had hacked into my broadband, then he said that my computer was causing a problem with the broadband. He got me to log into a website which allows them to access your PC.It came up with an ID No and password which I wouldn t give him after which he got annoyed. He quoted my Talk Talk account number and everything.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1612497xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, PPI, insurance claims, loans. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
