caller said they were from BT and to press 1 to get a technical fault on my land line fixed or press 2 to get my land line terminated
SCAM / SPAM Automated call telling you that it's HMRC and there is a fraud case against me. To speak to someone, you should push 1. HMRC would write to you so this is a total fraud from what I can tell.

Called by lady claiming she was from BT. Wanted me to reset my I/p address. Claimed someone was trying to log onto my network. Was willing to talk me through settings. Said I knew how to do it. She hung up
Empire Direct. They weren't sure why they were calling me (delivery had been made a couple of months earlier)
They re trying to collect some sort of apparent debt.
