It s valid for London but whether it s genuine is impossible to tell. The incoming number displayed on a phone screen can be spoofed from anywhere.

For the last 3 to 4 weeks, this number repeatedly calls during the day and leaves no message when unanswered. As I work nights, this generally wakes me but they don't stay on the call long enough for me to answer. I do not know anyone in the Pontypridd area and am not expecting any calls.

Keeps ringing, I don t answer, had a long 6 year dispute with a major high street bank,who incidentally were in the wrong and didn t take me to court but harassed me all the same, all associated debts are long since statue barred and they know this, just trying their luck and having none.
Our local Police advised us not to answer the phone if we do not recognise the number. This caller has called me at least 8 times in the last two days and doesn't leave a message on the answerphone.

yesterday reported that told them to take us off their list. today had another 3 calls,asked to speak to their manager, whosounded exactlylike the first caller, said if we answered their questions then we could be taken of the list as it would take a while to find us to delete us. Just had a call from this number. The caller said their name was Jerry and claimed to be calling from BT Open Reach. They asked me how I was. When I asked them what they wanted they shouted "I don't want anything! My name is Jerry and I asked you,'how are you'?" I hung up.
