Bank/Lonas
SCAM highly likely. Red flag to call on a non working bank holiday and leave no message. Also nobody has our new home phone number - so must have got it from a spam call list. Proceed with caution.
scam
SCAM
THIS NUMBER IS OKAY Genuine fundraising on behalf of Dorset amp Somerset Air Ambulance asking existing subscribers if they could increase their monthly lottery subscriptions I have contacted HQ to confirm this is safe
Tried to return call this number the day after and the number does not exist.
SCAM
Silent call. I answered the call, saying hello several times. Nobody answered, then the call disconnected. Number is supposedly from London area and there is no reason why anyone from there would phone me.
SPAM
Scam caller saying it’s visa
recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.
Fraud tried to say I had £900 debit charge shopping when I don't use online banking or shopping and never have.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
Said it was to do with passport and wrong information on passport also was a foreign speaking person so I guess it’s another scam tried calling back but no answer
Fraud - call claimed to be from Visa, but it came to my work mobile - blocked!
Me too IV been getting lots of texts about phone fun
Automated call saying it was visa security ringing about 2 payments on a card. Saying press a button to speak to an advisor. Not a genuine call
Pretends to be from O2 trying to steel your money
Threatening
SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.
