SCAM Text message claiming to be from the Halifax. Claimed I had set up a new Direct Debit and I needed to call them if it was incorrect.

SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.

Called at 5.30 am didn’t answer

Called received - automated message claiming to be from Visa regarding large transaction on my card and to press 1 to stop the payment. Didn't sound right. Called it back to get no answer and eventually the default EE voicemail message

A young man, purporting to be from a home insulation firm, said he was calling those in my postcode area to discuss insulation. When I demanded that he tell me the post code he politely rang off. Very dodgy, in my view

keeps calling and hanging up and goes straight to voicemal when you call back.

Received a scam call from this number leaving a voicemail: £700 from Amazon and 2nd charge 2000 pound through international money transfer website. We believe this is to be a suspicious and unauthorized transfer that you have never been done before in the past from your card. To allow this transfer, press one or press 2 to speak our support team. Thank you. Goodbye.

SCAM. Male caller speaking very fast and claiming to be from Microsoft. My wife answered (caller asked for her by name), realised it was the usual rubbish and hung up. Very annoying.

Automated woman's voice saying that there have been two charges on my card, one of which was £300 for Amazon. Then an invitation to press one button to allow the charges or another button to speak to an adviser. No mention. of course, of my bank's name. Clearly a SPAM call.

Thank you Google , I almost got SCAMMED FROM 289-624-4285-- 647-354-2063, .I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. This number was used to send me a Payment Request from a Caroline Fox via PayPal for £729. I called PayPal and reported phishing. Apparently this is not the first time this request has been made from this person.
