SCAM. This was an automated message saying a criminal case had been opened up against me for tax evasion. I know I am on top of my tax payments, because my accountant helps me to calculate my tax and reminds me when it's due. I searched under 'tax evasion scam' and 'tax evasion criminal offence' and it's pretty clear that it is now a criminal offence for companies or partnerships to evade tax and that this has spawned various scams.
Fraud 8.33 am 15/11/2021 Claimed To Be From Amazon, Recorded Message Saying They Would Be Taking £700 Out Of My Bank Unless I Pressed 1 To Talk To A Manager. I Just Blocked Them Instead.
