Sales call - Foreign gentleman trying to sell me something or other. A random number call?
SCAM
SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

this Call is Spam call from Europol
How this has been given a safe rating is beyond me!! Claim they are from O2 and send a code and then ask for it. They will then proceed to send you a phone by mistake and ring you back in a panic and say they sent it to you by mistake and can you send it back to them. Just hang up!!

Called this morning. I do not know anyone in Leeds. Caller was a woman with an (Indian?) accent. Caller told me that I needed debt. A weird call, caller did not use my name, identify herself or tell me why I needed debt.
Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left, so assume it was a sales/spam call.

SPAM Telemarketing <01913003718> Thursday 14th June 2023 11:02am: "Abi(sic) King" seemingly from a call centre (noisy background) asked to speak to managing director of our business by name, refused to disclose reason for the call except "he will know what it's about", and when pressed "regarding Rubix." When the caller realised they weren't getting through to the MD they tried another shareholder by name (silent partner, assumed all information obtained from companies h
SCAM This is a scam operation. An older lady calls to tell you that they have confirmed advertising space in local hospital/ school publication. These publications don't exist. They invoice and use factoring companies. We were stung for around £250 previously. Not heard from them in a couple of years so they've obviously started up again. Just hang up.
