I made payment to these people too, for advertising in an upcoming event brochure of almost ?230, (I stupidly paid twice, as they rang back the next day and said the payment hadn t gone through, I did actually check with my bank, and there was nothing showing as having gone through the day before, but it did appear within a few days]. If you've used a market comparison website for health insurance these people will ring you many times. They are helpful but very persistent.

Marc called, wanted to know who is in charge of the energy bills, said he was from a company about comparing energy prices. Told him we ve done it all already through U-switch and asked him to remove our number from the database. It remains to be seen if we called by them again.

since i got this number over 10 yeats ago i ve been getting various calls from organisations who are incompanemt enough to either buy old out of date information, or on being told their out of date and promising to delete, fail to do so. they get more money if the info looks legit resulting in me getting more calls from the next one in line

Caller asked for me by name, saying he was from Forte Healthcare. I didn t confirm my name, but I did say that our number is ex directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and that he shouldn t be calling. He said that our number would be removed from their lists. I terminated the call by stating that I would report it to the Information Commissioner. By other comments on various forums, definitely untrustworthy.
