Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.
Scam call about energy certificates. Ended call when challenged.

When I answered the guy said hello then hung up as soon as I said it back. Weird, and annoying.
Suspect it's Cognism or similar checking they have the correct mobile numbers for contacts they're selling. Ask for you by first name, then when you say it's you, they say a random surname and then claim they must have a wrong number.
Sent text claiming to be from Santander, saying they stopped a new transaction and to click on a link "if it was not you".
