A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite. I had a call today tried to call back but phone line not in service?
Scam. Automated message stating that £600 had been taken from a Visa or Mastercard in the last 15 minutes. Press 1 to continue. Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Wanted others to be aware.

Several missed calls from this number over the last few weeks. Today I answered the call. About endowment. Said that they had got my name from a list ! I asked them to remove my name and not to call me again!

Claims to be from the Consulate of China, though it is not the official number (or an expected variant, as you might expect if it were an extension). Can't speak Chinese so no idea what the message is - although I've had a number of unexpected calls in Chinese on my phone. Suspect this is a scam
