The chap called providing some personal details for me to confirm and asking me to call re new payment (£20,000 business acount). Later, I phoned bank. Initial team do not have this number. The guy on phone then helpfully called security dept who confirmed it was a genuine number.
Pre-recorded message with caller claiming to be from 'UK Broadband Service' advising that my internet connection was about to be lost as IP no. has allegedly been taken over by Mexico. 'Press 1 to connect to technician'. Noted that this purports to be an Edinburgh number.

I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.
