As an unrecognized call, the call went to answerphone and rang off as soon as the caller realized this, therefore leaving no message.

When answering, the line was dead, no noise, then a sound like a single ringing tone to another phone...then line went silent, so hung up. Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

This number is my desk phone and hardly ever makes any outbound calls. Any calls made would only be to callers that know the number.

This number seems to be from Dagastan in Russia. As I don't know anyone in Russia I would suggest it is a scam caller. Fortunately I got it as a missed call.

Someone wants to know where you are and that it is you answering the phone. That is why you get these calls several times daily even if you have told you are not interested.
