Says they are calling fom BT about a problem with internet speed and need to log onto my laptop to fix it. I kept them on the phone for about 30 mins playing along until I got bored and told them they would need to book an appointment if they wanted to try scam me.

just had a call from an asian speaking guy telling me I have qualified for an £8000 free government grant . He told me to call another number 0202895855 and give an id code LY22 then they will send £8000 into my bank account ,There is no such thing as a free lunch I can feel this is a scam so I have not called the number it did sound very dodgy . so all be careful not sure if you will get a high call rate or its just after your bank details to scam you .

they call at least twice a day for my son offering him credit cards and have written to him as well. Altho I have said he is not home during the day that makes no difference, calls about 9.30 a.m and 4.30 p.m
