Silent call
Another call where we have been charged for the call. Do NOT lift up the receiver if you get this number on screen.
Called and like others, reported to be from Microsoft, said that they had the serial number of windows that was reporting that my computer was being hacked as we spoke by a criminal gang (how ironic!) and that they were from an agency who needed to stop the gang by stemming the flow through my PC.....Said we know an IT expert who we would ask to take a look ourselves, he (called himself Peter Wilson) said that an expert would not be able to find it. Became agitated and said I needed to call him back on 0042

Scam. A text message promising a DVLA refund arrived with instructions to visit a website. The DVLA have warned that they do not ask people to contact them to claim refunds as all refunds are automatic.
Had missed call from this number so rang it back but on one answered. Think its a chesterfield code.
