This is some general call centre, their scope is mostly some marketing offer - wanted to know if you were eligible for a free boiler, offering cavity wall insulation etc.
Got silence and then hung up on. Called back later and it was Harringtons financial advise or something similar, PPI claims company spam calling people. Got another call from a different area code that was also them, have just logged that.

Calling me repeatedly a few times each day. Iv blocked them, Iv asked them never to call me again, Iv told them that they have the wrong number and that I don't drive. Iv pulled their leg and strung them along for fun to someone getting angry... Don't then the calls started coming through again every time I hung up they would call straight back. Just be boring and say you don't drive... But even still they will harass you!

Went to voicemail and just repeated my name "Stephen?..Stephen?......Stephen?" about 6 times before eventually realising it was answerphone and hanging up. Backgound noise sounded like an office/call center. Reports elsewhere have it as a bank fraud.
I keep getting calls from the following numbers: 01244757170 - 01143492427 - 016118147760 - 02031988128. All these calls do not leave messages, I have stopped answering my phone anymore and leave the answerphone to do its job, these companies call 10 + times daily a constant abuse of telephone marketing scams

My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers
