SCAM Claimed to be from British Gas and that my contract for energy services for my small business was due to expire and they wanted to help me renew it. (I don't have an account with BG) When I asked them for the account number he told me he would have to call me back because he was very busy right now. Sounded like a call centre in the background, very noisy and his accent was very difficult to understand. Do not give them any details.
Doing the rounds again Friday 6th May 2016, 11.25hrs. If you have caller display, simply pick up your receiver and don t say a word and listen, it will disconnect after 2-3 seconds. Don t be taken it by the scammers and get on with your day.
