After an accident years ago they still keep calling say "we understand you have had a non fault accident recently, have you claimed your compensation?"
Went dead when answered, second time we've been rung. Suspect an auto-dialer, as we know no one on this area code.
Automated call claiming to be Amazon. An American female accent, claiming my purchase of an iPhone 7 was succsessful and that £400 will be debited from my account! Total spam!!!
SCAM. An automated voice says the call is by HMRC and that you are being investigated for tax evasion.
Got a call today from this number. The guy didn t introduce himself but said he was from Google marketing and wanted £180 to put my page on a first page search. (I do this myself already). I said I could do what he was offering for next to nothing and at that point the caller got aggressive, I hung up him. He s obviously a chancer trying to scam people out of money. Yet another sad fool giving Manchester a bad name. I will be reporting him to Google.
Fraud Amazon saying i have had a card decline and someone using my card to pay for items
Answered call with "Hello" at about 1.30pm. There was a pause, a snatch of music, then a foregin-sounding male voice, saying, "Uuum". I said, "Waht is it?" and was met with silence, so I hung up.
