Had a call from them a few weeks ago after i filled in one of those cards after my holiday to spain, they were offering £15 M&s vouchers for a sleep survey, was not interested and asked to be put on their do not call list. lady who called said no problem, and have had no calls since, at they do as they are asked!

SCAM Called me at around 1100 hrs (Tue) on 27.7.2021 on my UK landline. Pre-recorded message read out by a lady, claiming that there has been some illegal activity going on with my internet, unless I contact them (e.g. by pressing '1' for .....'2' for .....) immediately, my internet will be shut down within the next 24-48 hrs. I just hanged up.

Getting scammed by this company was the worst nightmare that happened to me early this year. I wish I had done enough research before engaging. Maybe the situation with them would have been different. I was so naïve and did not have enough information I needed to know about the whole online investing scenario. Supposedly not trying to sell me something but wanted to know if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I refused to tell him until he explained why he wanted to know - if as he said, he wasn t trying to sell me something. Needless to say, he hung up!

Left a message with a co-worker asking me to call to discuss "UK legislation changes". I do not know this company and did not provide them with my number. They are clearly trawling LinkedIn and making unwanted and harassing marketing calls.
Automated call from Talk Talk saying that my line is going to be cut off and press 1 to speak to an advisor. According to Talk Talk this is a scam

Unrecognised tele number that actually left a message in the form of a female electronic voice with US accent. Message didn’t begin as you would expect - seems to come in part way through a sentence - but the gist suggests an arrest warrant for financial irregularities has been issued & to call the number back. No name reference etc. Clear fraud. Number blocked but will keep in case of a future similar call from a similar number & pass to the authorities. Derbys.

At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
