SCAM
Scam machine call tries to get you to press a button to speak to an operator failing which HMRC will arrest you. It might frighten some people, but this is not genuine.
The caller asks to speak to my late husband then starts shouting rude comments.
Fraudulent robo-call pretending to be Inland Revenue
SCAM They will send you a message saying they’re the NHS and you’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive for omicron and should follow the link sent to get a test. Do not follow the link as it will be a scam and try and steal your information etc when you put it in.

Called to say they had been informed I had been in a car accident, which I haven t and when I challenged the caller, she hung up.

This is a scam no. sending text message claiming to be Halifax saying new employee linked to your app. Asking if it not you or to cancel click on the link in the text message

Telemarketing
Don’t waste your breath talking to these people. Put the phone down on them immediately or if you are so minded, just tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea.
