Automated American Voice message claiming illegal activity on my HMRC and that I should urgently call back. BIG SCAM - avoid.
A guy with a foreing accent left a message addressing me as Mrs Sara (erm i dont think so). He said he was from a council but i couldn't make out which and that i'd been awarded £2,850 on a ppi claim i had on a loan with a bank. He repeated that later on but said the cheque was for £8,250!!! He's obviously reading from a script which he doesn't quite understand. I won't be ringing back! Scam of some sort.
