Finally answered to this lady who claimed her name was something like Lesley Olive (very poor phone line hard to hear). Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.

Asian sounding voice , said his name was Mike , he was calling from Microsoft , and knew I had a Windows operating system , and my computer was infected and he would clean it up , My response was ; do you think I am stupid ?? and told him I didn t believe him , .....HE told me to go to hell you mother F!£$%& and hung up . So I guess he wasn t from Microsoft !!
