Called me, hung up, I called back, a woman answered and said hello, I asked who they were, they hung up, I called straight back and a man answered wanting my details for a PPI claim. I refused to give any details and hung up.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. If you look at the sites for Nexbridge and Dialsure you will see that they offer equipment to call centres which give out local area numbers which match the area they are calling.

ANY call about your computer, router, viruses, wifi being hacked, IP address, internet being cut off, etc., is ALWAYS a scam. DO NOT be intimidated by these callers; they cannot...

I cannot believe these people, I was polite and courteous and explained I had not had a accident and after 5 minutes got told to F off and then the woman slammed the phone down. Absolute disgrace.

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

This number is repeatedly calling me, sometimes no answer. Sometimes Asian voice. Have been on price comparison site recently and it started from then, so beware!
