Amazon scam. Said that I was paying a subscription of £39.99 did I wish to cancel it. (I don't have any subscriptions to amazon)
They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.

SCAM Automated message claiming to be from the Serious Crime Agency, saying that my National Insurance number was about to be suspended as it had been linked to a number of major crimes. Fairly sure that, even if that was even possible, the first I'd know about it would be a dawn raid rather than a robot giving me a friendly heads-up.

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

Called me 24 times today. told them 5times I haven t had an accident. Finally told them to f off, still got about 15 calls after. Very difficult to get them to drop the number, and I think when they do, they pass your number to another of the same type of scum. One one call I was told to f off, and on another I was called an assailed. Very professional company.

Call center: Lady saying she wanted to ask questions about my general household. The line was awful and I couldn't understand what she was asking me. I believe she may have said something about my washing machine, but can't be 100% certain. I put the phone down as she was too hard to understand and the line was very quiet.
