Marketing calls from this company on behalf of Scottish Power. My elderly Dad answered(as its his account) and because he has trouble on the phone I took over for him. The guy on the other end went silent and wouldn t respond to me. I told him ; "I know you re still on the line, I ve just heard you talking". He hung up. I redialled and selected #1 on their ARU but having read the other comments on here, I m expecting further calls...
This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
