Suggested I was part of a criminal case being pursued by the UK Inland Revenue.
First received a text message saying hi from email address with the name samia attached? Then a further text message asking me who i was? I haven't called this number before or after. Will not call back and have blocked and reported them.
Called me twice so far today. Automated voice claiming to be from Mastercard/Visa, saying that £600 has been withdrawn from my account and to press 1 immediately, as my account has been compromised. Scaremongering and fraudulent. I hung up each time.
