Wanting to sell pre-paid funeral plans

They called me but hung up before they told me who they are. After checking the tellows website, I still decided to ring back to find out who they claim to be. It sounded like an automated response, and probably just the start of a voice mail message, but they said they are: Home Shield Direct I have never heard of this company before; they might be trying to cold call me for a sale. I am not interested; I seek out what I want. This is a harassment call.

The following steps are suggested:

Con telephone call - wasted their time as usual then hung up on them.

Third call from this number. No message left. Previously with Talk Talk so assume it was the same scam as previously mentioned.

silent caller, no message left. Other websites say this is a financial harassment caller female with poor English language ability.

Called asking to do a pension review.

Turns out it is a local call number for an American selling investment advice, so best avoided.

Answered call from this number and no one there.

Did not answer.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite.
