Scammers posing as 'Mastercard' asking me to press button one to prevent unauthorised transaction being made to someone in Africa.
They are so convincing as they knew my TalkTalk account number. Like an idiot I let them log on to my pc they made out that my router was at fault, a new one would be here tomorrow and there was a ?250 compensation. They asked where I would like the money putting. At this point I became very suspicious and refused. They then put a password on my pc which made it freeze. They said your computer is now useless, throw it away. But I managed to get back up and running.
