Guy claimed to be from my car insurance company. He referred to an accident I had 3 years ago and pretended to conduct a satisfaction survey on the aftermath. He asked if I has signed a claim for injury with a solicitor which I did not require. Challenged the guy and asked him again if he was from the insurance company and he said that they are connected to them. Lately I am receiving a lot of these calls relating to my past accident always from a different number, and now with a different expedient.

Pretends they are Barclaycard but actual Barclaycard says they have not been calling and have no need to. Must be a fraudster. Put phone down and Phone Barclays and or Barclaycard yourself.
This is a scam call number, from all the comments online it would appear that they use a local code for each person they cold call. What was most worrying was they knew my name and number which has been ex directory for 20+ years. They purported to call me regarding an accident I never had, again a female with a strong Liverpudlian accent, on questioning she stated that they call on behalf of Insurance companies to ensure their service was satisfactory, when I questioned which insurance company had requ
