Someone called me from this number and closed .is it dangerous
My elderly father had a call this evening at 7pm from this number advising him that £95 was due for his prescription charges. He does not pay for his medications. I will telephone the company who owns the number tomorrow to make them aware that someone is using their number for illegal purposes.

I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!
This appears to be an energy advice company. I didn't answer, but called back and got a very rough answerphone message. Unsure what they want or whether it is a phishing call.

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. SPAM checking on Google the number appears to belong to Niagra Heathcare in Crawley. There is no reason for them to be calling me, we rarely use our landline and would not have given out this number.
